Botox needs roughly 4 hours to bind to its target. During that window, your goal is to keep the product where we placed it. Not let it migrate.
The rules for the first 24 hours:
1. Stay upright for 4 hours. No napping face-down, no yoga inversions, no dental work that requires lying back. 2. No vigorous exercise for 24 hours. A walk is fine; CrossFit isn't. 3. No facials, masks, or aggressive skincare. Wash gently, no rubbing. 4. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours. It increases bruising risk. 5. Sleep on your back the first night if you can.
What is fine: walking, working at a desk, drinking water (a lot of it. Botox patients metabolize better when hydrated), and resuming your normal skincare the next morning.
When to call us: any sudden one-sided drooping, vision change, or severe asymmetry. These are extremely rare but we want to know immediately.
First effects show at day 3-4. Full result at day 14. Book your free touch-up consult at that two-week mark if anything needs evening out. It's included.
